They do have the concessions, on 50-year leases. That much is true. But as you say, it's an artisanal operation, to the extent that it operates at all.

Peterson probably believes the properties are valuable, but people do tend to believe that about things they own. In reality, it's like hundreds of other properties all over Mexico.
