I initiated this site the day before yesterday,when the "spin-off" occurred. I bought into Simon Property Group (SGP)in 1993 with the original offering #20.25 PPS and a return est. of 10%. The stock has performed beyond belief. My only regret is that I had a Merrill-Lynch broker who advised me to sell 1200 shares for $40K and that stock would now be worth in excess of $200K today( she is no longer my advisor). I received 1725 shares of WPG with the split. have reservations about this stock, as there are anchor questions in these smaller strip malls,but I am extremely confident of management, who seem to make all of the savvy moves.
