BROOMFIELD, Colorado and LONDON, May 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Level 3 Communications, Inc. Nival currently has thirty million people playing its games worldwide. In order to target gamers in North America and Europe in 2014, Nival needed a global and secure CDN that would support the resulting anticipated growth in data volumes, while still providing an optimal online gaming experience. That need brought them to Level 3, whose CDN allows gamers all over the world to access Nival's content from the server nearby to them, thereby reducing download times.
"Level 3 has a solid and reliable reputation, which we trust to support our increasing number of players," said Sergey Orlovskiy, Founder and CEO of Nival. "In fact, since using Level 3's CDN, we have seen a significant improvement in feedback regarding queue and load times from players around the world. Not only does Level 3's CDN improve our technical capabilities, but also it enhances our reputation as we continue to build our player base for Prime World and future games."
Tim Passingham, SVP, Enterprise Business, EMEA, Level 3 Communications said: "Level 3's CDN is engineered to seamlessly deliver high-quality online content to end-users, allowing Nival to spend more time designing and developing the best games possible and less time thinking about how to deliver them online."
