As of April 22, 2014, Worthington Energy, Inc. was acquired by American Dynamic Resources, Inc., in a reverse merger transaction. Worthington Energy, Inc., an exploration-stage company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of oil and gas properties; and production and sale of oil and gas in Texas and the Gulf of Mexico. It owns a minority working interest and drilling prospects in the Cooke Ranch area of La Salle County and Jefferson County, Texas. The company also owns leasehold working interests in oil and gas leases located offshore from Louisiana. It has a 70% leasehold working interest in oil and gas leases located in the Vermillion 179 tract. The company was formerly known as Paxton Energy, Inc. and changed its name to Worthington Energy, Inc. in January 2012. Worthington Energy, Inc. was founded in 2004 and is based in San Francisco, California.
