Note that I made no judgments at all on Foley's Ultracade books. There were no charges related to that, so it might be that the man simply has no skills at writing up a balance sheet, and maybe can't tell money from actual business activities from money resulting from dilution and sale of stock.
You're right that I'm less objective now than I was a few weeks ago. Being told lies with attitude to perfectly reasonable, even industry-standard questions, has done this.
However, if Blake Brown personally signs onto the train of "4K is always better than 1080p at any bitrate because it has more pixels", that would be like a doctor prescribing the wrong medicine on purpose; it would be a violation of his professional obligations, even if those obligations aren't certified by a licensing board.
So assuming he's true to his calling, and I've got no reason to think he might not be, except possibly for his association with these people, it might signal that NTEK wants to cut out the b.s. and start being halfway honest about what their box can and can't do.
That would be most welcome.
