It's the small cap biotech sector my friend. We should always be careful, on both uptrends and downtrends. And there will always be short sellers. I'll continue to take opportunities during your chart predicited downturns to add to any of my positions where the fundamentals haven't changed and numerous nearterm catalysts remain.

Mast Therapeutics is still a very strong buy at these levels by all of the metrics that I base my investing decisions on.

1) healthy financials (for an R/D biotech development smallcap)
2) dilutive news already out and factored in
3) catalysts being met on schedule with numerous others in the hopper
4) growing pipeline indications beyond ODD's
5) significant institutional ownership

This company PPS is undervalued and has plenty of room to run in 2014!!
