MM TIP: I talked to my broker E*Trade and asked about if ETRF MM borrows shares..

Response was:

"When shorting a stock, the shares may come from E*TRADE's inventory, other customer's accounts or from another firm."

So- explains MM manipulation and routing ideas CJ was mentioning. MMs can work together.
