"Why...unless you were on the stim manufacturer's payroll?"????

Well, for one, if you were on the manufacturer's payroll, you would likely have insurance that would cover a SCS!

"Cost $2,000 to $3,000 vs. $60,000 to $120,000"????

Well, that just goes to show you what third party reimbursers think of the device -- they're willing to pay 20-40 times as much for something demonstrated to be effective by randomized, blinded, and controlled studies versus flushing 2-3 grand down the toilet for a placebo.

"Invasive vs. noninvasive"???

Well, how about "works vs. doesn't work"?

"80% effective vs. 60% effective."???

Well, if we ask Dr. Toby Campbell, he'd probably tell you the thing not only ISN'T effective but he couldn't differentiate it from a "non-therapeutic" sham!

"possible significant side effects vs. NO side effects."???

Review the part about "works vs. doesn't work."

"Many times the spinal stims have to be removed. Doesn't that sound fun."???

Well, that's just a matter of opinion. I tell you, watch youtube and compare it to some of the things people do for "fun" and I think a good argument could be made for removing SC stimulators as a party game.
