"They don't accept insurance."????
I just noticed that "mellissa rose" went to mdjunction and posted there on March 19, before going for her calmare therapy:
"I am going for Calmare Pain Therapy Treatment next week. There is a list of treatment centers on their website. I realize I cannot say the doctor but I am going to the NJ one which is the closest (5 hours away). They don't accept insurance but the cost is worth it in my opinion. I have paid for medicine, doctors, therapy, surgeries, spinal injections, etc over the last two years. This will be worth it if it works. I spoke with the actual doctor and he said they have about a 70 to 80% success rate."
So NOW Cooney simply REFUSES to accept insurance? I guess he got tired of climbing all those mountains barefoot in the rain, huh?
And poor old "melissa," not even a week after her "therapy" was completed, on April 11, she said:
"The pain in my knee has been less but it is still there. As long as I am off my leg it is bearable."
And a week after that, on April 18:
"I have an appointment on Tuesday with my pain doctor. We are going to try a spinal stimulus trial which should be scheduled for the next few weeks."
Darn placebo effects -- they just don't seem to last!
And I just bet anything he didn't offer her a refund! So much for being one of the unfortunate 20-30% calmare doesn't work on, huh?
I wonder if she still thinks " the cost is worth it."
