Could someone please explain how a MTD is determined? Let's say MTD for kevetrin is reached in cohort 9 - does this mean that in cohort 9 an SAE occurred? More than one SAE occurred? Also, does the cohort dosing stop at that point once 1+ SAE occurs? Do they have to test a lower dose again in another cohort afterwards to confirm safety at the lower dose?
