Absolutely, Salexander. This is the kind of perspective that seems to be lacking with regard to PEGPH20.

In general, thromboembolic events can be managed. The risk of VTE is associated with many diseases and treatments. Heck, even admission to a hospital is a risk that REQUIRES prophylaxis. In the past ten years it has become SOC to use a small daily dose of LMWH for most admissions. No, we don't know the type or number of thromboembolic events seen in the study, and so the uncertainty is unsettling. But the smart money is on these trials resuming.
