DRIPS - they are a lot nicer now that the brokers have to keep records of cost basis - lol. Prior to 2011 they didn't have to report this and trying to figure out what your cost basis was on your DRIPS was always a guessing game! They are a great investment for long term. What is good about them is when the market is down, or the stock you are invested in has dropped, DRIPS do cost averaging and you could get cheaper shares in depressed markets.
