I really don't get how you expect Broxton to be so early.

I'm, perhaps naively, taking Intel at its word.

Even Merrifield doesn't exist.

I guess it can have a 6 months lifecycle, but how many people(companies) will take it?

Not many, as you're seeing in the market.

We don't even see Merrifield, how do you expect to see Broxton in less than 1 year?!?

Honestly, because Intel has no choice. If Broxton is a 2016 part, it will go up against 16FF/14nm parts made by TSMC and Samsung and it probably will be on part with the best, not absolute leadership.

If Intel gets Broxton out in mid-2015 as promised and then 10nm Atom in mid-2016, it will have a pretty decisive lead once and for all.
