My average is not as low as yours, 2 points. . .mine's over $4, but I only been in the stock approx. 11 mos. . .I do plan though to get "long-term" gains out of it by holding more than a year (and even now NOT JUMPING STUMPS to sell AMD). But I got in at the last big high it made over $4.40 (unfortunately). I've since bought shares in the low $3's, but its just now really getting back to 'my area.'
I hope the stock does have $6, $7 or possibly $8 'written on it,' and possibly a "bigger company" have need of buying it out perhaps. Nothing happened along the buyout line as far as I know. . .TALKS with anybody, but it stands to reason if some other co. has a wad of cash sitting around, AMD could become their 'guinea pig' since the pps is so low. That ALL depends on another COMPANY'S NEED, of course!
