I have figured this out. I took the PDF file and ran it through a freebie converter to convert it to RTF (http://go4convert.com/ToRtf).
Then, I looked at the Rich Text Format (RTF) file in Microsoft Word.
What I found out is that the text in the PPJE 04-15-2014 Disclosure Statement which appear to be rendered in Greek letters are actually using the Symbol Font. The upper and lower case alphabetic characters in Symbol Font convert to the same upper and lower alphabetic characters in Times Font per this table:
I then edited the PPJE Disclosure Statement to provide the "English" translation (in Times Font) of the "Greek" words (in Symbol Font). The red text is the original text from the document (I changed the text to red for clarity) and the blue text is my transaction into "English".
As you can see there are no big surprises here. PPJ was not trying to hide anything. Someone just committed a font formatting error. At least that is one suspicious item we can cross off of the list of suspicious items.
Once again, like with so many communications from PPJ Enterprise, if someone had taken the time to proofread this document, the error likely would have been located and fixed, and the company, and its officers, would not have wasted valuable creditability with the shareholders. Instead, we all looked at the document, and suspected that the font deal was intentional and was an attempt to hide something from the shareholders.
Chandana Basu, I hope you are reading this. It is very easy to not waste creditability by simply insuring that communications consist of complete sentences, all of the numbers add up correctly, that all of the i's are dotted and t's crossed, and that the wrong font is not used.
