(OTC:BB: ENIP) (“Endeavor”), an intellectual property services and patent licensing company, announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary Endeavor Energy, Inc.’s patent infringement litigation against Con Edison Solutions, Inc. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York will be part of the Federal Patent Pilot Program. The case (13 CV 6528 - United States District Court For The Southern District of New York) is now before the Honorable Laura Taylor Swain.
Under the Federal Patent Pilot Porgram, fourteen designated U.S. District Courts, including the Southern District of New York, receive additional federal resources intended to augment the courts’ expertise in patent litigation and increase judicial efficiency in managing their patent litigation dockets. Industry commentators have suggested that Federal Patent Pilot Program accelerates disposition times for participating cases.
