I really should have clarified:

the same process of going up ending with a hanging man, yes, is bearish.

What I failed to clearly articulate, is that, there exists a similar process as well, when commencing an upside run after a bear run down, in which the upside commences with an upside down hammer or hanging man and the same series of 5 steps are needed to validate the run going up.

We have not yet had the socalled confirmation process. I also do not believe that we will.

While I am not willing to change my position by selling shares, I certainly may increase it by adding if the pps tumbles further.
