thx, I'll have to check into Etrade, scottrade's fees are much higher on pennys also because they have a surcharge on every trade and many times it goes over $10 and have had some trade fees get up around $15-$20 if it is a sizable order. I followed this thread forward and someone also was having the same issue with etrade that I am having with scottrade so maybe I am doing something wrong. will have to call scottrade monday. and try and make it work until I have time to open Etrade account. thx again for your input
