Yes we have been burnt by these legal deadlines way to often.

But dare we say this time is different?

With 613 being the rule of law and the same patents in that case being involved in the 868. I believe loop said something to the effect that the 868 is ripe for settlement.

Then we have a settlement conference being delayed so they can do it over the phone. WTF.

Next we have earnings coming out later than usual possibly after the close of the the Microsoft Nokia deal.

Now the ID is delayed another month.

Huawei and Interdigital have settled and agreed to binding arbitration.

By comments the ALJ made it would appear he and the commission do not want another remand.

Anything can happen even a new CEO as some have speculated is needed but that too would go away with a few settlements.

Remember the Chinese say Interdigital has a monopoly!!

Last week I looked at all the IP stocks the IP hawk has listed on his site. I came away thinking Interdigital was the best value just on a fundamental basis.

With the technicals lining up one good settlement and the stock should move nicely.

Just some random thoughts and observations on a Saturday morning.
