website only, no mention of the full video production going live on 4/20
GET IT STRAIGHT!
a problem with these message boards is that jenky rumors get spread and people start expecting something completely different and that usually involves a raising of the expectations...the ol' game of telephone at its worst.
it seems that some people are now expecting that CS had a full studio built up already...then they saw the infamous pshop'd studio and are mad because they thought CS had this built the whole time and that it's too late in the game to ask for feedback so why is he asking for our feedback??!

yes, CS was not very clear when that image of him sitting at his desk and the 'studio' were posted on FB...I can see how it was construed that he was implying THAT was their spot....the dude may have been super f'ing tired from countless sleepness nights trying to get this together and just slipped. He sure looked tired as hell. Interpret things as you will :)
READ THE LETTER POSTED ON FACEBOOK, then RE-READ it one more time...then ONE more time so you're clear on everything. READ all the stickies, stop asking for someone else's opinion and come up with your own! That will help take the emotion out of things because you let yourself surmise conclusions, and conclusions bring peace of mind...humans love doing this and have been very good at it for thousands of years.
A reminder: this is only PHASE ONE of the website...it could get completely redesigned between Phase One and Phase Two. I've seen it happen before! Many companies stretch and gurgle after launch, tweaking many details...logo changes, packaging re-design, website (especially websites!) design etc. etc.
CS just wants to get up and running in a respectable fashion that will draw enough consumer attention...no one gets it perfect the first time in any new venture anyway. It's a very delicate balance...you want to get it JUST right, but on the other hand, waiting too long to launch and your position in a blue ocean will be taken over in a sea of red.
I understand how comparing this company to CNN makes sense, but ONLY with their likeness of both being news hubs, at the moment. Obviously production levels will not quite be there just yet, but I'm sure they will be really good. The video teaser looked to be a very promising start.
Obviously people have money tied up here, so we expect our proverbial money's worth...the emotions run high. Only you can be the judge of your perceived value of the company...if it stresses you out too much, pull your position and go to another sandbox. No one's forcing you to stay!
You know what would make me feel REALLY good? Seeing a picture of CS, Thompson and the Doc together sharing a mature beverage. Snoop can come too.
Of course, none of this matters if Sunday happens to be a flop and we get nothing...We'll see what happens. But so far is so good. Put on your seatbelt, it's going to be an interesting ride.
ps. I'm fulfilling a bucketlist notch and getting certified for rally driving if we do well here :)
