They won't do literally, but its clear that Broxton is a much more performing platform than Cherry Trail.

Other competitors do similar too. Usually the easier to scale GPUs are advanced on a process node change, a harder to CPU on the same node.

What Intel can't do is offer miserable 5-10% improvements in their Core "Tick Tock" model.
