The only reason I can convince myself of is that they have a plan in place that they are executing and they can't be bothered with it. The only value those conferences would add (other than an ego stroke) would be to meet with potential partners or financiers. The fact that they're not attending any of the recent dog and pony shows makes me think that they have all that lined up already... and the anticipation is killing me.
