Yeah, I think the delay is just the presumption of when they would start. Somebody posted on that article about their habit of mismanaging dates, but I think that kind of comes with the territory. I think it's more about the fact that they tend to announce everything, which can be good. But it can also reflect negatively on the company's pr as well, but being so forthcoming, cuz dates often get bumped.

So, for the shorts, right now sucks. But for the longs, this is a great opportunity to load up on shares if they can. Six to eight months from time of dosing, and we will have a great idea about where we stand financially.

I think the delay also is due to their choosing for first dose. If anything, benitec really wants to accurately nail down their patients with their qualifying criteria. Also, think about this. Let's say this therapy works exactly the way we think. Wouldn't you prefer, as a patient, to be part of the therapeutic dosing range, rather than the safety? I could be overthinking this, but I wonder if those applying for the trial know the potential, and really want to be the second cohort! I wouldn't blame them!
