Hi Alea---Sorry to have missed your earlier post directed to me. I was busy offering my detached, objective, fair-minded and cheerful commentary to those on another forum many of whom have the unmitigated gall to violently disagree with humble views. It has always been a challenge to maintain my undisputed reputation as the Paragon of Humility.

Your analysis of the Micron/Wave PR is astonishingly deficient because you ignore the main thrust of the PR. Instead we get a boilerplate critique, which is safe because well it really doesn't say much.


Wave offers SEDs that SELF HEAL APTs when combined with the Wave Endpoint Monitor. And both Micro and Lenovo have embrace this solution. Why not explore the array of possible meaning behind those sets of facts?

"Given the pervasive connectivity associated with cloud computing and data/asset management models, it is becoming even more critical to architect comprehensive security solutions that leverage close integration of software and hardware components. This collaboration is focused on the detection and remediation of advanced persistent threats (APTs), the most advanced forms of malware capable of infecting a wide array of IP-connected devices."

This strongly suggests to me that Micron Technology has embraced Wave's solution to minimize the APT threat. IMO THAT IS VERY BIG NEWS!!!! The great find by Taxi Vader also documented that Lenovo is recommending Wave's APT solution. That was also VERY BIG NEWS!!!!

Wave's PROPRIETARY APT solution that involve hardware based SEDs designed to Self Heal APTS in conjunction with the Wave Endpoint Monitor appears to heading to the status of a Gold Standard for a very wide range of devices!!!

This is is certainly going to become the first KILLER TPM APPLICATION to hit the market. The APT nightmare is on the front burner of every media outlet. In contrast, TPM based SEDs, the application that was supposed to launch Trusted Computing has barely been a blip in any type of media outlet.

I say it is nearly self evident that Wave's APT will become the Gold Standard on all devices.
