Do i always practice what i preach, (not that im a preacher). The answer to that is NO! As y'all know, i use Facebook as a way to minister to others that might be searching for the truth, a place to lift others up and to encourage. In other words during my online Jesus time each day i try and post what i feel the Holy Spirit is guiding me to do. But, heres the thing. Im a human, i have that same flesh side of me that i had 18 years ago before i said yes to Jesus. Now, MOST of the time my faith and trust in Jesus keeps me out of trouble. Then, once in awhile the temptations of the world and satan and my own hard head...gets the best of me and i fail. Now, in my eyes i truly dont upset the cart to awful bad, but i know in Gods eyes, sin is sin. So, my point. Dont think i sit here and preach down to anyone. I struggle just like everyone else at times. We live in a sin filled wicked world. I just thank God for the shed blood of Jesus that saved me in the first place and will continue to do so as long as i do my best to stay on the straight and narrow and repent my failures when i mess up. Remember, being a born-again christian DONT give us a license to sin, but when it happens, dont beat yourself up. Repent that sin and let Jesus pick you up and carry on in His footsteps!
