Livestock (beef, dairy & pigs)is a $15B industry in the region around Amarillo, TX. There is a significant emergency planning effort relative to this industry and the terrorist and natural biological threats.

Many months ago I emailed Bruce info about the planning and a list of local and state contacts. My guess is this will be an area to explore as a follow on after the first (medical) priorities are on track. IMO MZEI can't, at this stage explore every potential market and chase dozens of rabbits. They need to stay focused on their top one or two priorities and get them up and running. They can then start evaluating, prioritizing and exploring other potential markets.
