The DoD posted this (NON AFTC) contract award today to Aerovironment, It's an example of a "sole Source" no-bid..you are the only one that makes it, contract. i expect AFTC to get "Sole Source"

Of course, this stock is trading at $35.00

Oh if but a part of that!

I wonder if they started out with SBIR R & D funds and got huge?

AeroVironment, Calif., is being awarded a $6,300,000 alternate fuel technologies research and development contract, with an option for additional duration testing. The work will be performed in Monrovia, CA. This contract was awarded through sole source procedures. The contract number is H92222-06-C-0016.

I added (NON AFTC).. figured I might be causing a commotion! Sorry for any palpatations!
