The Osage Whitten 1-2WH, located in Section 2 of Township 16 North 3 West in Logan County, Oklahoma, was spud on April 15 with Nabors Rig #357.

Osage Exploration and Development, Inc. (OTCBB:OEDV), announced today the spudding of the Osage Whitten 1-2WH, the Company's first operated horizontal Woodford well in Logan County, Oklahoma. The Osage Whitten 1-2WH, located in Section 2 of Township 16 North 3 West in Logan County, Oklahoma, was spud on April 15 with Nabors Rig #357.

This follows the successful drilling of the Osage Whitten 1-3MH Mississippian well to Total Depth, which was spud March 17th, 2014. The Osage Whitten 1-3MH has now been cased, and is awaiting fracture stimulation.

"Our program of drilling, completing, and bringing new wells on line is in full swing. Less than eight hours after releasing the rig from the Mississippian well, we were able to spud the new Woodford well. Our contractors and supervisors performed in an extremely efficient manner, which directly benefits Osage shareholders. Once the Osage Whitten 1-2WH is drilled to Total Depth, we will begin preparations for the fracture stimulation of each of these wells sequentially.

"We further expect to begin drilling our next two wells in Logan County, the Ally Carey 1-19MH and the Neely Carey 1-20WH, at or near the time that we complete the fracture stimulation of the two Osage Whitten wells. Osage's Operating team is performing at a very high level, which is precisely what we expected going into this project," stated Kim Bradford, Chairman and CEO.
