1) Well, in most cases company's launch as a private start-up and later seek the public markets to finance expansion if their initial business model proves successful. Just as is the case here. Pretty normal I'd say.
On the contrary, it's one of the sad OTC realities that companies with no viable business or fundamentals whatsoever go public to raise seed financing. Most end up just funding management compensation before they are out of business again.

Your number 4) makes a good question to management. Worth giving it a shot.
