The bottom line is will physicians buy this device once it gets to market. After all my DD I believe there is a market for this device and it is large. We have surgeons on this board who are already starting to understand how it works and are eager to know more. There is a market for this robot, I think much larger than the MAKO device. They have a great leadership and are strategically aligning themselves with the right physicians. Locally they have established a very good relationship with Mayo Clinic, the #3 ranked hospital in the country! You can feel the demand for a competitor to ISRG (even though initially I think they compete in slightly different deals). They could easily sell 75 robots in the US in year one (IMHO). Not sure how many in Europe...lets just say 50. I don't know the European market as well, but I would imagine its a very good market. What about Canada? What about India with the strategic relationship they have there? Depends on the salesforce they use and when they launch and if they can catch capital budgets before they are requested for the next year. Its definitely possible, I've been apart of a sales team that launched a product that was also in the "perfect storm" category and we sold 80 units in 12 months, with a much smaller market and smaller budgets. OR's have huge budgets, you just need to get in, demo, quote, budget, close.
