We've had sharp spikes up and down, with absolutely no
rationale of any kind, no news, no developments, nothin'.
If I've learned anything in the last six months, is that it's much
more meaningful to ascribe these gyrations to pure chance,
and not seek meanings where there is none!

Remember, the underlying reality is what's happening in the
lab, in the market (for Iclusig), in academic institutions where
Ariad's drugs are being tested, and in places like MD Anderson where
Ariad's molecules are being used. In that arena, things are chugging
along, in a parallel universe, that has very little connection to the
twists and turns on Wall Street. In the end, it's this universe that
will determine the final outcome (and yes, I do know that Ariad
needs financing!).
