What does "costs applicable to mining" actually mean. I haven't heard that term before. I have heard of "Cash operating costs" or "C1 costs" etc where reference includes cash costs directly associated with mining, processing, site overheads and royalties etc less silver. Is the $1,000 per ounce discussed relate only to "Mining" (i.e. excluding processing, site admin, royalties)? Does the denominator include the gold equivalent of silver? Does the cost include silver credits? Most mining companies that I have looked at define what is and isn't included in their "cash cost" calculation. Such disclosure/transparency would really help us investors not only understand what this means but also to gain confidence in the operational performance of the mine. Again my concern here is the companies track record and ability to convert bad news into appearing to be good news.
