The Pulse line of drinks you currently have are no longer relevant. The Pulse line is being fundamentally changed. The Mens and Womens beverage are a thing of the past and the whole line is being re-formulated.

Its really great to have CW but the Pulse functionals are the pride and joy of the company and also unique to the market. Anybody ever try a Vitamin Water? IMO it sucks and is chalky. The market accepted it because its unique and the concept of vitamin water is great and in demand. The reformulated functional beverages are the flag ship products of Pulse and they better be drop dead awesome. You only get 1 chance to reformulate a product. The long term future of PLSB hinges on the functional beverages as lemonade and CW will only take you so far since others sell them too. As good as they are, they are not unique.

Imagine having a true competitor to Vitamin Water that tastes really good with no chalky consistency, comes in attractive packaging and employs cutting edge technology that both works and is cool from a marketing perspective. POW. STORES WILL WANT THAT BIGTIME. If the product tastes only okay and is packaged in those stodgy looking bottles that the original formulas came in then I think I don't think we get that POW impact. I trust management and believe they will hit it right from all angles as they were quick to change direction and move away from Mens/Womens formulas to unisex. I just hope we get cutting edge plastic bottles that look the part. The functionals have to look the part and walk the walk.
