Newport Coachworks Inc. Announces New Dealership Network and Electric Bus Pilot

A new article covering Newport Coachworks, Inc. (NCWI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Green Automotive Company (OTCQB:GACR), was quietly published two days ago by Chauffeur Driven and it somehow managed to slip my gauntlet of feed monitors! If it slipped my radar, it probably slipped yours, too.

The article brings a lot of exciting details to light and highlights NCWI's progress year to date, giving customers and investors a sneak peak at what's to come later this summer and towards the fourth quarter.

Key points summarized from this article:

- Carter Read has been building buses for eight years, previously at Tiffany Coachworks, and now at NCWI. Before then, he built and raced speed boats using his own designs for over 30 years. He's carried over the fiberglass craft skills into the bus making business. In his youth, he broke multiple speed records.

- Pat Butler, VP of Sales, has been in the business for 30 years. Yes, GAC has its own sales team to process and respond to direct sales leads.

- Mark Mills, Plant Manager, has over 20 years of experience manufacturing to FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard) compliance.

- Jason Duncan, Production Manager, has seven years of experience overseeing the manufacture of over 25,000 vehicles (RVs).

- Baja Limo of Sacramento, California, was NCWI's first customer.

- Bell Transportation of Las Vegas, Nevada, has been selected to pilot the e-Patriot electric bus.

- Several dozen e-Patriot electric buses have been committed (ordered or pre-ordered?) for delivery in Q4 2014. At the estimated $150,000-$170,000 price tag, presuming several means three or more (12 x 3 = 36), then this could be in the range of $5,400,000-$6,120,000 in sales volume.

- Blackhawk Manufacturing Inc., recently acquired into the GAC family, will use advanced techniques to create light, stronger, better fiberglass material for the e-Patriot and other NCWI designs.

- Don Brown Bus Sales will continue to be the distributor for the North East region.

- Midwest Transit Equipment, with seven stores serving the Midwest and the West, has been added to the dealer network and is excited to be a part of the GAC's revolution.

- Moonlight Coachworks has joined an alliance with NCWI to manufacture custom interiors.

Here's your first look from a different, closer angle of the e-Patriot!

With all the good things happening to NCWI, this looks to be a very promising and breakout year for GAC. I can't wait to see what's in store!

NOTE: GACR refers to the stock, while GAC refers to the company.
