Regarding the "other" Turbine Aviation, according to their website they are in El Cajon, California and their business looks quite similar to "our" new Turbine Aviation (if in fact it comes to pass). There is a difference in the website addresses, the California company is: turbineaviation.com, while our Medley, Florida company is turbineaviation.aero. Also the California company has a date of 2002 (or maybe 2004, one of those) on the bottom of their website homepage, which could mean that the website is outdated and they are no longer in business. I thought it seemed strange that the new company would choose a name that already existed, so to check I called the company in California (where I live) at the number listed on their website. I called twice on successive days during business hours...no answer, the phone kept ringing but no message service either. So maybe the number now belongs to someone else who was not home at the time.
(whew, new paragraph). There's also the possibility that the El Cajon company used to be our company before it set up business as Turbine Engine Center in Florida in 2009. I previously sent an e-mail to Mr. M. at the Florida company asking about this...no response.
So the beat goes on as mystery abounds, and the reaction of Stockmarketkid is not unjustified. Will we RM believers triumph in the end? Hard to say, but the way things are going we may run out of coin of the realm before our ultimate fate is known ;)
