"NEW STUDY STARTING AT JOHNS HOPKINS"???

Well, one can only hope he'll remember to exclude patients with contraindicated meds or at least remove them from those meds BEFORE doing the study -- unlike in his predecessor study which claimed only 30% pain relief and then blamed it the medications the patients were taking.

Did CTTC donate a machine to Johns Hopkins, or did Dr. Smith just relieve Massey Center of his old one -- since Massey evidently had no use for it?

As far as double blinded and controlled, I don't know about that. He doesn't indicate whether the machine will be physically identical to a calmare. If not, then it's obviously impossible to claim the trial is either blinded or controlled.

And Kimmel seems a tad slow about including the study on their website:

Funny thing is that even if successful, all it would really demonstrate is that a TENS device is effective at treating CIPN -- CTTC would still be left with proving that it's superior to other TENS devices in order to get paid more than them.
