If the ability to magically produce shares to sell into the market were to disappear (for example hitting the current A/S wall) then the company (sans any other source of stable revenue) would go belly-up very quickly.
I have a hard time believing that the Execs would let the A/S crisis come to pass though. As that's when the free ride stops for them as well here.
