The town official I spoke with is Kirk Foran. His official title is Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Lakeshore. 2 Apr (2 days ago)to me

Good afternoon,My name is Kirk Foran and I am the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Lakeshore. I would be pleased to speak to you about the site you reference in your email below. Please feel free to call me directly at 519-728-2700 x 237.I look forward to our conversation.Regards,Kirk. (I declined to speak with him preferring everything be in writing. The site referenced is the site where the current pole barn is being constructed, the site of the FITX facility). My question to him was that we cannot get a response back from different town officials on the site of the construction. At this time I was asking about permits.

To Kirk2 Apr (2 days ago)I only conduct research by email simply because I rely upon the sender to provide their answers so that there is no mis-understanding. Is there a way to view the documents on line with the town? All I need to confirm is all of the zoning and permits are in place for the article. In terms of sizing, other infrastructure that is not an important part of the article only that the town has granted the required permits to build it out. I am currently juggling close to 37 different companies in this sector and researching like mad to meet the mid-Apil deadline. A large number of then already have come under a trading halt by the Securities and Exchange Commission and Creative seems to be one of the few actually appearing to be legitimate. I will not quote names but only the fact permits/zoning are in order. I have had a similar request with Health Canada but they only will be acknowledging the successful applicants for medical marijuana.Kind

Kirk Foran 2 Apr (2 days ago) to Steve, Tom, me Hello XXXX, I can confirm that a building permit has been issued on this site for an agricultural storage building. A second permit has been issued for an agricultural fence. We have NOT issued a building permit for a medical marijuana grow-op facility. In fact, we do not have an application in our system for a medical marijuana grow-op. Permits for a medical marijuana grow-op are not in order. The Town’s Zoning Bylaw will permit small processing operations under specific zoning provisions. Without scripting these provisions, the bylaw typically allows for small scale processing of agricultural crops grown on site in agricultural zones. Since we do not have an application, the Town cannot determine the scope of the operation in order to render an opinion regarding zoning bylaw compliance. We are therefore unable to determine if zoning would be in order. While you have dismissed “other infrastructure”, I can advise you that the Town has not reviewed its ability to service a medical marijuana grow-op in the absence of an application. I wish to point out that Town staff have not been evasive in answering your questions. We simply do not have a proposal to respond to! I trust the above explains our position. If you require further clarification please contact me. If you like we can scan and forward a copy of the building permits along with the Town’s zoning provisions.
Regards
Kirk
