Artificial Life, Inc. Inks Distribution Agreement with Thumbplay Further Expands US Distribution Channels

Hong Kong, February 20, 2008 - Hong Kong based Artificial Life, Inc. (OTC BB: ALIF), a leading provider of award-winning mobile 3G technology and applications, today announced a distribution partnership with Thumbplay® (www.thumbplay.com), the largest and fastest growing mobile entertainment content destination in the U.S. (according to Nielsen Mobile, Q3 2007).

Artificial Life will add its own branded games such as V-girl™, V-boy™, Bad Girls Club™, Tokio Hotel - the official mobile game, Lollipop, Blackie's Teenage Club, and a variety of animal-themed games to Thumbplay's extensive catalog of mobile entertainment offerings. They will soon be available for purchase on Thumbplay's web site at www.thumbplay.com and through its integrated partners' sites.

With more than 75,000 pieces of mobile entertainment content under license, Thumbplay has built a strong consumer following and gained broad recognition as one of the major players in the direct-to-consumer mobile content space. During the last quarter of 2007, Thumbplay announced deals to integrate its mobile entertainment content catalog into the Web and mobile portals of AOL and MSN Mobile.

"We are excited to make our games available through Thumbplay, which enjoys a dominant presence in the United States. The partnership with Thumbplay can further expand our coverage in the states, allowing more and more consumers to have easy access to our games,' said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.
