1flaguy, with your ECCI thoughts...

Please don't take this the wrong way, but that was then and this is now. Things change for a variety of reasons and variables out of our control.

It appears that ECCI was simply very fortunate to have been somewhere at the right place at the right time. I think they have found their niche in a huge market that greatly needs to utilize their patented technology.

From what I had discovered, ECCI previously had big plans within the Hurricane market and England project, but they turned out to cost more than they anticipated which caused them to layoff many of their employees for not having the funds to pay them. The Logistics were too much to handle as many unexpected issues continued arising that eventually became too much to deal with.

Hurricane Katrina destroyed their offices that they had setup in Louisiana too which gave them a huge unexpected hit.

Things have changed and I think ECCI should not be judged on their past business ventures right now. As everyone knows that they have an awesome patented product/service for water treatment.

Now that they have found a new niche in the market, I think it's too premature to pass bad judgment on them. Because of this new niche, money is not an issue from when I spoke to the CEO as he told me that he needs not to do anything with the current share structure to raise capital. From researching the Barnett Shale Formation there in Ft. Worth, I see why too. It's no secret that the major companies up there are primarily billion dollar companies. This I know from calling and speaking with them. DVN even explained to me how the ECCI patented technology works. The DVN guy explained to me why it was so important.

This is a huge difference that didn't exist before which is why ECCI should be viewed different. See it like if you were in the business of selling cars, but badly failed. Now imagine that you decided to try selling motorcycles and now have awesome business and have transformed into a multi-million dollar company. Do you think your motorcycle business should be judge on how bad you had done with your previous business of selling cars?

It’s also no secret (in my opinion) that they should be getting a few contracts from a few multi-billion dollar companies. I understand the past with ECCI, but I am banking on their future.
