lol .. I don't know . I am going to assume here that it is someone who gets stuff done .. you know .. "fixes" stuff ...

Chicago politics has always been pretty , well , not sure of the right word to use here ... but ... oh hell .. let's just say .. under handed .

don't take my definition of fixer to the bank .. as that is just my assumption .. K ...??? ;)

actually Chunga , personally I have always found Chicago politics fascinating ... I grew up there - got my own family stories to tell .. about paying off judges , paying off the aldermans , hell - paying off everyone .. if you didn't want to be bothered to death with 'city inspections' .. etc..you paid - and much much more ..We had the Irish Mafia come directly to our house .. .. oh well, that's another story .. just a peek .. We were on the front page of a rag called Chicago Confidential at one time ... lol ..
