Hello Mr. X,
In response to your question below, Winning Brands Corporation is currently vetting which 3rd party organization(s) would be most suitable for the purpose of providing environmental verification. Considerations are:
· Recognition of that organization by the retailers with whom we are dealing (They don’t all agree)
· Consistency between 3rd party qualification criteria and prevailing scientific opinion (What standard of biodegradability is being applied, what degree of dilution of a particular ingredient makes it ecologically benign, etc)
· Portability of such verification across economic/political jurisdictions (Which governments will provide accreditation status at the border(s) that we cross)
· Reliability of the confidentiality undertakings by such 3rd party organizations vis a vis trade secrets (Do the largest industry participants have access to the findings through their affiliated personnel)
· Reasonableness of the compensation to 3rd party organization (some want perpetual royalties)
We already have conducted 3rd party verification of our performance claims through Bureau Veritas. http://www.bureauveritas.com/wps/wcm/connect/bv_com/Group
In summary, yes it is in our future to apply 3rd party verification of environmental claims. We are working on that now. We hope to have made our selection in 2008. I will share your question with forum moderators so that they can post an official response to this good question.
Sincerely,
Eric Lehner, CEO

Subject: Third party verification of Winning Products product claims
Good Morning, Mr. Lehner,
I just listened to the TV commercial on the company's website. Has a nice
jingle to it.
A question arose in my mind. Do the Winning Brand product claims have third
party verification? Does the consumer have to accept claims that the
products are environmentally safe on faith or did the corporation have these
products tested by an outside firm? I am not aware whether this is possible
or whether it is financially feasible.
Respectfully
X
