Press Release on Russian Website (only!), dated January 28th, 2008:

General Director of ZAO North-West Oil Group "Sozina she gave the interview program" Company News "with RBC-TV

Yulia reported that the "North-West Oil Group intends to participate in the construction of oil refinery in Syria worth 850 million dollars. The company will be shallow oil refining, producing mainly diesel, as well as fuel oil and gasoline. Production capacity plant will be 150 million tons of oil a year. Refinery Construction "North-West Oil Group is planning to work with the Government of Syria. The Russian company will make the operator of the project and will be responsible for negotiations with the investment fund to attract investment. It is expected that after the launch of the enterprise Syrian side will be able to purchase the company for 15 years.
