81.3% RE-PARTICIPATION FROM PSL 7 TO PSL8:

There were 75 contestants in PSL7 (less Mr. Sheep). 61 of them are in PSL8. That is a 81.3% re-participation rate! PSL1 had a re-participation rate of 78.9%, PSL2 was 78.4%, PSL3 was 78.4%. All three are amazingly similar. The re-participation rate from PSL4 to PSL5 and from PSL5 to PSL6 was substantially better! Of course, PSL6 to PSL7 is much closer to the first three. Finally, PSL7 to PSL8 is the third best so far.

We have 5 newcomers (Rookies) --- (Littlefish, Giff, Lbas, Lisg, FrankValue). Let's give them a big welcome.

Naturally one would wonder if the re-participation rate for PSL8 was correlated to where they finished in PSL7. There usually is a small correlation. This time is no different.

Shown below is the first group of 10 in the final PSL7 rankings and how many of them (10) are participating in PSL7, etc. Re-participation rates by groups of 10 are based on how each group finished in the previous PSL contest.
