NSOM Challenge
There! Are you happy Len :)
AYSI - Well spoken about but mining exploration in Australia has been growing at a near double digit rate on a sequential basis. That is just astounding growth for AYSI's customers which bodes well down the line. EPS of .04 against YOY earnings growth of over 1000% doesn't sound bad either.
ZYNX - Well known but I like their high margins and sales growth in a sector that has little exposure to wider economic risks.
PNS - A turnaround play with EPS of .10 last quarter against a 2.40 share price. The new CEO has turned margins around and made the company very profitable. An acquisition in the works should boost bottom line profitability as well.
CIMT - An earnings play with .07 in their seasonally weak quarter with a seasonally stronger quarter upcoming. Recent acquisitions should help the bottom line considerably
GVSS - Sells security systems to schools, government etc. They have increased their independent sales reps from 50 to 80 last quarter and have a semi-exclusive marketing deal with Samsung to market their products. Insiders have been buying and Samsung is funding a big marketing push for them in 2008.
TCCO - Sells secure communications equipment to government and to some extent the private sector. Earned .34 last quarter and increased backlog by roughly 50%. This is in a nice recession resistant niche with a backlog number that implies those EPS numbers may be repeatable or even improved upon and they are trading at a forward PE under 5.
Honorable mention: INX.V (INXSF) my table pounder. Wanted this one in the contest with their .013 EPS and 40% growth forcast. Even at .30 I think its a bargain but I couldn't bring myself to do it with their seasonally weaker quarter being the only one reported during the contest. PSL9 is a completely different story though.
