Commenary: 18/85 people picks foreign stocks PSL 4 or 21.18%. PSL 5 23/86 People picked Foreign Stocks or 26.74% of the contestants. PSL 6 25/88 People picked Foreign Stocks or 28.41% of the contestants. PSL 7 18/75 People picked Foreign Stocks or 24.00% of the contestants. PSL 8 20/80 People picked Foreign stocks or 25.00% of the contestants. Furthermore foreign stocks made up 6.47% of the total picks PSL 4, and made up 10.47% of the picks VMC PSL 5. And made up 10.61% of total picks in VMC PSL 6. VMC PSL 7 only 7.56% of the stock picks were foriegn stocks. VMC PSL 8 even declined further as foreign stocks were only 7.29% of the stock picks.
After Foreign stock gained significant ground from PSL 5 compared to PSL 4 in importance. The importance in PSL 6 was up slightly compared to that of 5. However, there was the first sequential decline in the use of foreign stocks in VMC PSL 7, and it was a significant decline at that. And In PSL 8 although results are mixed, by a slight uptick in % of people using foreign picks, the level of importance has definetly declined as only 7.29% of the total stock picks are now foreign. I'm not sure if this this tells us anything, but I thought it was interesting.
