The big boards stabilized after a crazy first week of 2008, but the No Brainers took it on the chin. After going more than 5 trading days without a Lame Brainer, today we had five, including one surprise loser. Today we say goodbye to BLLZ, CCMJ, DMPD, EXCS, and SGGC (which went from No Brainer to Lame Brainer in 2 days).

Overall, we had 16 advancing stocks against 17 declining, but that turns out to be a false balance as 10+% losers outnumbered 10+% winners 10 to 4--giving the board a sizable loss percentage-wise.

So for the first time this year, we have openings on the board, five of them.

GSII up 40% at .035 (closed HOD after a late rally on heavy volume and no news)

CSBR up 14.5% at 1.50
HVAG up 21.15% at .739
NEOP up 14.71% at .39

Today's Big Losers

BLLZ down 25% at .021 (closed LOD on no news. There were only a couple trades; these wide swings are common in thinly traded stocks--easy to get in, hard to get out and no profit is safe)

COPI down 25% at .0195 (closed LOD on a late crash. Traded down all day on light volume as it continues its consolidation/pullback after the recent run)

INBG down 27.63% at .0055 (closed LOD after a morning crash and lots of bouncing in heavy volume with no news.)

SGGC down 50% at .01 (closed LOD on heavy volume. Apparently sell on news syndrome, SGGC gave up nearly all of the last month's gains)

CCMJ down 11.11% at .0008
DMPD down 12.5% at .0035
EXCS down 19.53% at .0103
NNVC down 10% at .36
OLNK down 11.76% at .003
