Installing the motherboard in the case

First thing to do is to make sure you have the correct number of standoffs and they are positioned is the proper places. This motherboard uses 9 standoffs to keep it from touching the metal insides of the case and to properly secure it.

Next, we remove the generic in/out plate from the case back and replace it with the custom plate that comes with the motherboard.

Now we are ready to install the motherboard into the case. The in/out ports on the motherboard fit precisely through the holes in the in/out plate. Note the two boxes on the left have spring tabs which are connected to the in/out plate that must be lifted to allow those boxes to slide under them. The board is correctly positioned when all 9 of the screw holes in the motherboard line up perfectly with the standoffs. Screw the motherboard down using 9 motherboard screws and it is done.
