Doubloon,

I have been an investor in Dutch Gold for a while now and did an onsite visit there for two days. During that time I was able to tour the mine and meet with a lot of the mining personel and also watch the mill in action. Historically they have graded over .4 oz/ton and the early runs back in May were actually higher. The Free Gold they discovered made them retool the mill as they were not recovering at a high enough rate and were actually sending too much gold into the tailing pond. The key going forward is going to be the reserves they are going to need to prove up. Early drilling they say looks promising but no results have come out. On why they released this safety review? Maybe it was just a way to let people know the mine is in excellent standing in terms of safety. I know when I visited they went in great detail about all the new procedures they had put in place to be compliant. I guess they consider safety to be a big issue. If there is any issue with this being a real mine I would have to say its much realer than a lot of juniors who will be drilling for years and are still 8-10 years away from production.
