NSOM challenge:

CKGT: Well, this one was just a shot in the dark. I don't know much other than the few posts that I read and what KIK posted. Seems quirky and unusual and figured what the hell. They supposedly are growing sales like crazy and are significantly undervalued for the earnings and growth. By the way they sell cactus (yes) cactus products. Wanna smoke a cactus cigarette? If yes, CKGT has got good news for you.

DFNS: Despite the trouble they had with the dragon skin armor I think they are positioned to profit from the middle east tensions. The way things are going with Iran and the rest of the middle east I can forsee Israel needing more and more protective gear. The fact that DFNS has an outstanding relationship with the IDF creates value.

NRDS: This is a base metal play. They are starting a copper mine in December. I expect the growth in China to continue and base metals like copper are going to continue to be in demand until China's growth collapses.

SOYO: I've owned SOYO in my account for a LONG time waiting for it to move. What got me was that they started selling on the shelves of Wal-Mart Canada and secured a licensing deal with Honeywell to make Honeywell computer monitors and flat panel TV's. Honeywell doesn't screw around (I work for them) and I figured that their DD into SOYO and their abilities was good enough for me. Unfortunately SOYO went from .45 to .80 the day before the "official" closing price for this competition.

TGB: US recession fears, an ever expanding US debt level, Fed rate cuts, falling dollar, all point to what should be strong gold prices. TGB was in five dollar range before the panic selling. $4 seemed like a deal given my expectations that gold will continue to appreciate into 2008.

ZYNX: Any lengthy discussion would be like kicking a dead horse. Growing sales force, increasing orders, top and bottom line growth, and no effective dilution to common equity.
